No matter what you call God; Our Lord, Jesus Christ, Allah, Jehova, Vishnu, Yahweh, Budda or any one of a thousand names different religions call their God. I truly hope you have someone to pray to and thank for your gift of life.
I truly hope you have grandparents. They are our link to history. You can find out so much about where they came from and how they grew up just by asking them. I am sure you will be surprised to know that they had no video games, no computers and no cellphones when they were young like you.
Being grateful for all you have is one of the best things that you can be. Knowing that nothing in this world comes without hard work is good to know at an early age. Saying thank you should come easy to you when someone gives you something, this includes your parents because they have to work hard for the money they get to run your household and put food on the table and clothes on your back.
Don't forget to laugh! Laughter is a wonderful thing. Laugh at things that make you happy but do not make fun of other people because that will hurt their feelings. Think of how you would feel if someone laughed at you!
Your grades are very important; no matter what grade you are in right now. Developing good study habits are most important. Find a quiet place to study at home so you can do your homework in peace. If you need help, please ask your parents, teachers and even friends. The harder you work at your grades, the better the reward will be!
