You can easily recycle Christmas related items and not only save money for next season but make uses out of items you normally would throw away.
Gift bags are reusable. Even if there is a tag glued to the bag, you can easily cover it with another tag and use it next year.
Cut the front off of a Christmas card and trim it using scrapbooking scissors. Punch a hole in it and use a ribbon or yarn to attach it to a gift. Makes a perfect gift tag and you will not need to purchase gift tags when you reuse Christmas cards.
Reuse Christmas gift wrap by using it as a background for mounting Christmas pictures. You can also use it to pre-wrap gift boxes and store them away for next season.
Decorative bows and ribbons from Christmas packages do not need to be thrown in the garbage. You can gather them together and either create a wreath with them or store them to use on next years packages.
When you receive a gift in a box instead of putting it in the recycling can save it to use for storage, packaging gifts or cutting apart for times when you need a piece of cardboard.
It is easy to recycle when you learn how to look at an item and picture the other uses it might have.
Great list, so much of our wrappings can and should be recycled. Those gift bags aren't exactly cheap just for one time use, same with everything else on your list.
And of course, you'll want to recycle that Christmas tree too. I cut my Christmas cards into bookmark sizes and slip them in with the next year's cards.
