How often is wine given at a dinner party or as a quick little gift? Entirely too often! Get creative and give something unique and different next time. A vanilla extract kit is perfect because it's easy, cute, and lasts a lot longer than a bottle of vino. Your baking friends will especially thank you as making your own vanilla extract means it's pure of artificial flavoring and preservatives. I have made my own vanilla extract for years and it makes such a difference in my baking!
"Vanilla Extract Kit: Split beans lengthwise, Fill bottle with Vodka, store in cool/dark place for 2+ months, Enjoy!"
Make your own holiday gifts with kids. Inside these cutely decorated packages are frozen cookie dough rolls. Who doesn't like cookie dough? The idea behind this gift is. the recipient can eat the gift as is (cookie dough) or can bake it when they feel like having fresh baked cookies! My frozen cookie dough rolls lasted a couple of months in the freezer (they were well wrapped with freezer paper).
These Older Than Dirt Jars and perfect for a 40, 50 or 60 year old birthday. Fill them with actual dirt, or crushed up Oreos for an edible treat. These would be cute as centerpieces too. I prefer the crushed Oreos myself..great on top of ice cream.
