I've been with Verizon Wireless for almost six years now and I love the quality of their phones and their service. My first Verizon Wireless Smartphone was a Treo which I had for over five years. I recently upgraded to a Droid 2 by Motorola and I couldn't be happier.
My Droid 2 by Motorola has 8GB of internal memory plus a pre-installed 8GB MicroSDcard. That's a lot of memory! I don't think I'll need more memory but if I do I can expand to up to 40GB of total memory by upgrading to a 32GB MicroSDcard.
I love the camera features on my Verizon Wireless phone. My Droid 2 camera has 5.0 megapixels, auto-focus, touch-to-focus, face detection, panoramic modes, and a dedicated camera key. It makes taking photos with my phone fun and easy, and the picture quality is great.
I almost bought the Droid X and I'm so glad that I didn't. I find myself using the slide out QWERTY keyboard for pretty much everything. The Droid X doesn't have this feature.
There are thousands of apps, games and music downloads from the Android Market, many of which are free. When my son is bored in the car I let him download free games on my Droid 2 and it keeps him occupied and happy. When he's happy, I'm happy. Enough said!
Even though I don't need the 3G mobile hotspot feature at the moment, I plan to add it soon as I will be needing it in the near future. This was one of the reasons that I bought my Droid 2.
It's funny. I had my Treo Smartphone for so long that I thought I'd miss it. The Verizon Wireless Droid 2 by Motorola is so reliable, fun and quite simply makes my life easier. I haven't missed my Treo for even a minute. Thank you Verizon Wireless!
