With an average rate of $8 per article, making money at Break Studios is possible as long as you streamline your writing process.
I generally choose to stay away from titles that require 10 sections, such as lists that ask for the 10 best of something. Unless you can think of 10 items for the list immediately and know enough about each of the items to write a blurb, it is best to stay away from these titles because of the time it takes to research them.
With a minimum of 250 words required per article, actually writing your article shouldn't take very long. Write in a way that you can provide the information requested without using too many words. Don't provide a lot of filler content or extra information unless you need to meet the 250 word minimum.
The Break Studios audience is usually college age males. Write in a playful manner while keeping a tone that portrays you as an expert. You don't want to seem staunchy, but you don't want to seem like you are to immature to know what you are writing.
I can usually knock out three articles for Break Studios per hour. My Focus Booster timer is set for 15 minutes per article with a three minute break in between so I can get the next template up. This makes for a $24 per hour income.
I write all of my Break Studios articles directly in the template so I can save time. Before I save the article, I just copy and paste the article into Word in case it gets lost while saving.
Break Studios requires at least one reference per article. That is usually fairly easy to find. To keep your overall time per article to a minimum, don't look for extra references unless you absolutely have to.
