There are hundreds of freelance writing job boards on the internet. Finding the gems, the ones that offer good writing jobs, can be a challenge. These five boards are pretty easy to use and have tons of freelance jobs, including writing jobs.

This site is a straightforward board that has jobs for bloggers, copywriters, developers, editors and other freelance jobs. You can apply for jobs directly from the job posting.

Another pretty decent job board, this site has some pretty good looking jobs. The board lists brief descriptions, click on the description to view the post. I did not see where you can apply directly from the site, but instead you apply directly with the poster by contacting them.

This writing job board by MediaBistro (and who doesn't LOVE MediaBistro?) is very easy to use. You place bids on projects that interest you. One thing I really like about this site is their "Meet the Employer" section.

This site has both full time jobs and freelance jobs - most are journalism related. It has nice search features and is easy to use.
Before applying for writing jobs, decide what your rates will be. What can you write for and what just won't work for you? Set standards and don't settle for whatever you can get. That low paying job that requires two hours of research is taking you away from higher paying gigs. If you can't blast through it in fairly short order, you need to charge for your work and your time.
Definitely something to look into .. thanks for sharing.
