Highest Paid Fake Celebs

Introduction:

By fake celebrities we mean people who have become known for their party antics, wealth and the celebrity crowds they hang upon. Reality tv has made many a "fake celeb" out of such names as Snooki and Tila Tequila. Do the two compare to Paris and Kim?

Paris Hilton

Paris is the queen celebutante. Her family, who owns the Hilton line of hotels, nets billions. Paris makes her own fortune by attending parties and causing scandals. Her love affairs are followed by many of her adoring fans and her homemade porn has many other types of followers. She has coined the phrase, "That's Hot" and makes a nice revenue from her clothing line, perfumes, and other cosmetic products. She starred next to Nicole Ritchie, in the tv series, The Simple Life. Paris Hilton nets $45 million a year.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian's father, Robert Kardashian was one of the many lawyers on the O.J. Simpson case and one of his best friends. O.J. even stayed with the Kardashians for a time. Kim and her sisters, Khloe and Kourtney have made their family name infamous for the reality tv shows, scandals, including sexual ones, and marrying top athletes. The girls make their rounds through the different sports leagues. Kim herself has been known to have dated NFL star Reggie Bush and recently married and divorcing Kris Humphries, NBA New Jersey Nets star player. Khloe is married to Lamar Odom of the NBA.
All the scandals, failed love affairs, clothing line called Dash, and cosmetics bring Ms. Kardashian a reported $12 million a year.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino

Oh, yes, people, $5 million a year. Are you crying yet? The "Situation" as his fans and cast mates call him, is bringing in the big bucks when it comes to being paid for no talent. The Jersey Shore's popularity baffles many, while it has an almost cult following of "guidos". The show takes place along the Jersey Shore and is know for its fights, parties, hook-ups and all around drama. Another of Mike's cast mates, Snooki, is also said to be making a lot of income for the guidette.

Lauren "L.C" Conrad

Lauren won many viewers hearts on the hit reality tv show, "Laguna Beach." She rivaled the mean girl Kristen, with her sweetness and likable laid back personality. After the show ended, "LC" was asked to do a spin-off, called, "The Hills." The world fell in love with Lauren, as she showed everyone that you do not have to lose your morals or be a complete idiot to have a reality tv show. Lauren has busted out in the fashion industry with her own line of clothes. Lauren makes a reported $2.5 million a year.

Tila Tequila

Tila is best known for her on screen make out sessions with other women. Her VHI, A Shot of Love , show that tried to find the infamous pornstar/celeb love, featured men and women vieing for Tila's affections. Many would humiliate themselves just for another shot with Tila. Ms. Tequila (named after the liqour) makes a reported $1.5 million a year for her "modeling" career.




Final Thoughts

Does not take much these to get noticed in Hollywood these days. Hopefully an era where movie stars are classy, sophisticated, and worthy of the admiration that so many children are looking for in role models these days., will return. The days of Garbo and Elizabeth Taylor's classic sex appeal and beauty and pure talent brought women the respect and finances that have build the way for today's celebs. Can we say we are proud for allowing society to glorify these kinds of "celebs"?
