Get rid of spyware to eliminate PC slowdown problems. Spyware are constantly running in the system background, therefore slowing down your overall processing power. Popular spyware programs include Spybot, Malware Bytes and Windows Defender. Run these applications regularly to ensure you always maintain a clean PC.
Remove computer temporary files to speed up your PC. Right-click your hard disk and select "Properties." Click "Disk Cleanup" and allow your Windows system to gather all unused, temporary data. Select each file listed and click "OK" to effecively remove this unnecessary data.
Windows Disk Defragmenter reorganizes all hard disk data to make your overall browsing more efficient. Go to Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools and launch "Disk Defragmenter." Select your hard disk and click the "Defragment" button available.
Virtual memory serves as RAM when your computer lacks the amount required to handle computer programs. From the Control Panel, click the "System" option. Browse to the Advanced section, followed by the Performance field. Launch the virtual memory settings to enable this great computer feature.
