Dress up your baseball themed party space with these homemade baseball party decorations!
Use chalk to outline a flag shaped triangle on a piece of felt. Cut the flag shape using the chalk outline as a guide. Use different colors of felt to create the decorations for your pennant. Use white felt to cut out baseballs, your favorite team colors to cut out the team name. Use a glue gun to affix your embellishment to the pennant flag. Wrap the wide end of felt flag around a dowel. Staple or glue together the sides together to secure the flag to the dowel.
Gather a dozen baseball cards. Punch holes in the top center of each card. Measure and cut a three foot length of ribbon. String the small lengths of ribbon through the holes in the cards. Tie to the long length of ribbon at three inch intervals. Cut off any loose ends.
Use a color copier to photocopy the cards onto cardstock if you don't want to use original baseball cards. Hang the banner above the doorway or party table.
Draw a baseball mitt on brown construction paper or foam board. Cut out the shape and draw lines and stitching with black marker. Punch hole and string ribbon through it.
Draw circles on white construction paper or foam board. Cut out the shape and draw stitch lines with a red marker. Punch a hole and feed ribbon through it. Hang these decorations from the ceiling.
Purchase wrist bands in your team's colors. Purchase stickers with baseball images or team logos. Slide one wrist band over each napkin. Attach a sticker to the centers of each wrist band napkin ring.
Inflate white balloons with helium. Use a red marker to draw baseball stitching on each balloon. Use ribbons in your favorite team's colors to tie one baseball balloon to the back of each chair at the party table. Scatter the remaining balloons around the party room.
